Hi. I’m Chris Uschan, Vice President of Sales & Business Development. Growing Acumium’s brand awareness and client relationships is important to me but ensuring long-lasting success for every customer is really what I’m after. It’s about quality partnerships, not quantity.
BA: Before Acumium
Before joining Acumium, I held multiple positions at Omnipress including Digital Product Manager and Director of Marketing for 16 years. I instituted a marketing program that drove a 400% increase in leads, and I helped transform the business from a traditional print shop to a leading provider of online and digital educational conference content. I have an extensive background in B2B and B2C digital marketing, ecommerce, marketing automation, lead generation, managing website development, business strategy and sales process optimization.
A passion project…
I love giving back to our Madison community. I’ve volunteered for many years with the Arthritis Foundation earning the “Heart of the Mission” national honor, and was a founding chairman for the local startup charity, Madison4Kids.
A few of my favorite things…
I love sports, and hockey has been my passion since I was a kid. My hockey career had me stopping pucks- I was a goalie- in high school, to playing four years at the collegiate level, to a short stint in the minor leagues. As an adult, I finished my playing career with a roller hockey tour that took me around the country. As my playing days came to an end, I switched over to coaching, where I was head coach of UW-Madison’s club hockey team for 10 years, winning two national titles and coach of the year. My coaching skills shifted within recent years as I now coach my oldest daughter’s competitive softball team, the Mad City Devils. Outside of sports, I love a good Netflix binge, traveling with my wife, teaching my youngest daughter how to run a slime business and heading out to the lakes to go fishing in Hayward, WI.
