Caroline joined Acumium in January 2015 as our Lead User Experience Designer, and is currently our Director of User Experience. Caroline works closely with our clients and internal project teams to conceptualize, describe, design, prototype, and test usable and intuitive applications that delight our clients and the people who use their sites. Caroline attended Michigan State University where she earned her Bachelor’s Degree in Agriculture and Natural Resources Communications, along with a certificate in Horse Management.

After graduating, Caroline moved to Madison to take a job at Lands’ End. She was later recruited to work for Promega Corporation where she worked for 15 years before joining Acumium. Her time at Promega made her a “jack of all trades.” She had a large variety of roles including Content Engineer, Customer Experience Specialist, Project Manager, Business Analyst, Web Developer, Software Developer and Senior Software Developer, throughout which her love of user experience work persisted. Her many talents and years of experience make her the perfect fit for our team.

But, her crazy good talent isn’t the only thing that makes Caroline special. With interests in cooking, farm-to-table relationships, motorcycling, homebrewing, writing, massage therapy, and birth doula work, Caroline enjoys the same breadth in her personal life as she does in her work. Outside of the office, Caroline loves spending time with family, especially her husband, two children, and their 135 lb. Alaskan Malamute, Sugar Bear.
