Sales Representative

The Sales Representative will be a frontline spokesperson for Acumium and is responsible for promoting and selling Acumium products, services and Acumium as a company. In other words, we need someone who isn’t afraid to seek and develop new relationships in an effort to grow business for Acumium and the prospects you seek. Acumium values growing businesses online the right way which translates to a consultative approach to selling and managing clients.

DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • Responsible for growing the firm through new client acquisition.
  • Establish contacts via a combination of telephone calls, personal calls and event opportunities (Strong telephone skills imperative)
  • Maintain customer relationships with current clients, partners and other prospective clients
  • Build strong relationships leading to continuous business relationships
  • Grasp what our products and services are from more than just a users perspective
  • Able to spot the technical potential and the client need for Acumium to offer a solution
  • Uncover new sales opportunities in vertical markets
  • Meet set target goals
  • Attend events and/or trade shows to promote Acumium products
 
MINIMUM JOB REQUIREMENTS:

  • Several years of software sales experience mid to enterprise market. 

KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS AND ABILITIES REQUIRED:
  • General knowledge of the web and the importance of search engine marketing is a must.
  • A penchant for solving business problems with technical solutions.
  • A solution-oriented approach to selling
  • Several years of software sales experience mid to enterprise market, characterized by a proven record of sales achievements selling one or more of the following:
    • Business Process Management
    • Business Intelligence
    • Custom Software Solutions
    • Digital Asset Management
    • E-business Strategic Planning
    • E-Commerce Solutions
    • E-Marketing
    • Intranet & Extranet Development
    • Dynamic Interactive Websites (content & contact)
    • Portal Development & Integration
    • Search Engine Marketing & Optimization
    • Web Content Management Systems
    • Web Design & Development
  • A strong technical background with emphasis on Internet related systems.
  • Must possess strong initiative and "Sales skills" understanding of the business process (approach, qualify, customer needs recognition, the close and after the sale service)
  • Professional knowledge of technology and the sale of technology solutions
  • Working knowledge of Customer Relationship Management (CRM) systems and the ability to utilize a CRM system to its full potential.
  • Organization, effective time management and phone skills are critical.
  • Excellent interpersonal skills, verbal and written communication skills

WORKING CONDITIONS AND PHYSICAL EFFORT:
  • Work is performed in a typical interior/office work environment.
  • Requires some travel for sales calls.
