Lange Lift's Easy-to-Use Website Tools

Lange Lift biggest hurdle on their website was they had very old data that did not accurately represent their products or services. They did not want to always rely on a programmer for web changes and wanted to be able to make the changes themselves.
Located in Menomonee Falls, Wisconsin, Lange Lift and its parent company Hevi Haul International are manufacturers of heavy industrial load moving and lifting products.

Hevi Haul fell into the common dilemma of letting their product information on their old website get out of date because they were not able to easily make changes to the content. Acumium worked closely with Heavy Haul executives to determine their e-business objectives:
  • Incorporate their current corporate identity into a contemporary website design;
  • Develop navigation for the website that was intuitive to both prospective customers and sales staff;
  • Allow for easy modification of product descriptions, photos and spec sheets;
  • Build a website that can be easily optimized for more aggressive search engine marketing;
  • Provide tools to easily update content as Lange Lift moves away from costly distribution of printed materials.

  • Utilize XML development by keeping content separate from website design, allowing search engines to better index and find content;
  • Utilizing in-line META data tools to keep page keywords and content descriptions as fresh as the page content;
  • Work with Hevi Haul to institute an aggressive search engine marketing campaign.
