| The Omega Business Problems | | | Omega was using outdated technology to track, document and post results to their client base. The old solution required significant manual intervention and was prone to mistakes. Omega’s client base was growing too fast for their technology infrastructure to handle. More regulations and guidelines were emerging from the FDA, HIPAA, CAP and SAMHSA which the old LIMS would not meet. |

| The Acumium Solution | | | Acumium first consulted with Omega to understand the business issues facing their laboratory environment and then designed a solution utilizing the Acumium Framework (see Acumium Framework brochure). Though the Acumium Discovery process, Acumium worked with Omega to create functional teams responsible for all aspects of defining, creating and deploying a LIMS solution that would solve the issues facing them. Acumium then worked with those teams to define the critical initiatives to solve those issues and then prioritize them and define them into a step by step project with timelines and milestones. The following is a highlight of some of the critical business problems that were solved with the Acumium LIMS. |
